Lynchburg Lemonade
1 ounces Jack Daniels No 7 Tennessee Whiskey
1 ounce Cointreau Liqueur
1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 ounce simple syrup, preferably Barsmith
4 ounces lemon-lime soda
lemon wedge, for ganish
Add the Jack Daniels, Cointreau, lemon juice and simple syrup into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with the lemon-lime soda and stir gently and briefly to combine. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
To create simple syrup, simply mix sugar with an equal amount of water and stir until fully dissolved, then allow to cool.
